KAREN MASTNEY FOBBS
Operations and Managing Editor

Since February, 2019, Karen has guided Ascension Entertainment Productions in Operations and as Managing Editor, Marketing Coordinator, and Writer. 

Her management experience encompasses serving as Executive Director of Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, Director of Operations at Fobbs Management and Communications (a marketing, public education, and public relations firm with a concentration on government relations and consulting), and more recently as Practice Manager for a behavioral health private practice.

Karen’s creative experiences include editing Soul Source magazine (an urban news, information, and inspiration magazine), acting as Administrative Director for National Urban Policy Action Council (NuPac), producer /scheduler for The Kevin Fobbs Show (a daily news talk show), and a Creative Associate for Artistic Studios.

EDUCATION

Karen graduated cum laude from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio with a B.A. in Social Science. In 2012 she was an MBA candidate at University of Phoenix with a Project Management concentration and in 1991 for the Masters Program for Non-Profit Executives from Mandel Center for Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
